If you talk the talk long enough, everyone will believe you.  That's what happened to the police department of Gerald, Missouri who were tricked into believe that an unemployed former trucking company owner was a federal agent.

The crazy thing is that the police chief and mayor of this small town (population 1,171) let this unemployed guy lead the department in a series of drug busts. They even believed him when he said that he didn't need a search warrant to search local houses because he was a federal agent.

Did you catch that?

The local police and town mayor actually believed that a federal agent did NOT need a search warrant to enter, search, and arrest local citizens. This is unbelievable!!!!
