Last night Phil Strout released a short video about some of the his thoughts about the theme of next year’s National Conference (“Vineyard Movement: All In”). The theme partly comes from Matthew 13:44-46 in which Jesus is telling his followers that it is all or nothing. If, to paraphrase Phil, the Kingdom of God is worth anything at all, than it is worth everything.

Wise words; yet so often we I try to live with only giving part of my life to Jesus. I want the rewards without the pain, without the suffering that comes with taking up one’s cross daily. But if following Jesus is worth anything at all – it is worth one breath or one second or one dime – than it is worth everything. Don’t stop part way… I must not stop part way…but must continue to give everything.  All in. All or nothing.
