This week marks the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the American Civil War. In keeping with this theme, Steve Hamilton provides us with a great discussion on the blog “Not The Religious Type” about the role the Second Great Awakening played in starting the war.
Since we are living in the middle of a highly polarized cultural with people screaming for revival, I think this is a worthwhile conversation.
