Finding A New Coffee Shop

moxie 1As some of you know, I found out that my favorite coffee shop closed down this week – or, more specially, I found out that it was closed this week as I was awol for two weeks due to being sick.

This closure poses several problems as this shop was the source of my tea leaves and Chai mixture…however, the worse problem was the challenge to find a new place to de-stress during my lunch hour.

As stupid as this may sound, I have never had this problem before so it was hard for me to find a place to start. Why oh why did my favorite shop have to close? The process was harder than I imagined, and it wasn’t until someone I know told me about somewhere like Smokey Row and the coffee and beverages they serve that I had almost given up. It sounded amazing, but it was just too far for me to venture out to during my lunch hour, so whilst I’m definitely going to check it out in the future, I had to find somewhere closer to me if this was going to become a permanent solution, and so that’s what I set my mind to do.

Luckily God sent some help yesterday in the form of a friend who suggested getting a cup of coffee at the Moxie Java on Five Mile and Overland. Not having anything else going on, I agreed to the meeting and wondered over their thinking that it would be a small, stale place with hard chairs and an echo.

Arriving, I was pleasantly surprised to find a large room with tons of couches, tables, chairs and paintings – not to mention a nice relaxing atmosphere. I was also told they use the most sought after wholesale coffee beans UK supplier too!

When my friend arrived, I discovered that this particular Moxie was not part of the large chain. Instead, it was a family-owned coffee shop that has been operating for years (I’m guessing that it was one of the first Moxie before they went big). The coffee shop was actually pleasant and nice. Perhaps this is the next best coffee shop. Personally, I wasn’t aware that this coffee shop was family-owned. If I would’ve known that, I might’ve visited there before. Often, smaller coffee shops are better than the bigger franchises. Perhaps this coffee shop should consider investing in some better online marketing to ensure that more people know about their history and their cafe. They wouldn’t even need to get an in-house marketing team to do it, they could just get in contact with a white-label company that could do it on their behalf. Marketing companies like Victorious (https://victoriousseo.com/markets/white-label-seo/) would probably be able to help them gain more attention online by trying to get more search engine optimization techniques in place for them. Hopefully, this will help them to get more customers and experience more success. This family-owned business was lovely, so I hope they do get more customers from this blog and better marketing if they go ahead with that!

Now, if they only served loose leaf tea…. 😕
