Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me

I just finished listening to the Sept 21st podcast (lateness never killed anyone – expect for the dude who forgot that Noah was closing the door at 9am sharp) of NPR’s Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me – and about died laughing!!!

In fact, I had to shove my arm into my mouth to prevent large amounts of sound and spit from escaping. Well… at least I stopped the sound waves… Undecided

How can something from NPR be that funny?  Just imagine a funny Spock.  No really – picture Spock on laughing gas. Got the picture.. ok, now listen to the Sept 21st edition of Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me for the audio portion. Tongue out

Oh, by the way – did you know that German scientists have proven that, on average, Saturdays are the wettest and coldest day of the week? Yelp. It seems that all the fine dust stirred up by commuting to and fro work Monday thru Friday builds up in the sky and seeks revenge on Saturday.

Just a tit bit of wisdom acquired by listening to Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me. Wink
